About Ian HigginsonIAN HIGGINSON is an award winning and a versatile musician who was originally brought up on the Wirral, Merseyside. He is a well-known composer, conductor, teacher, accompanist and organist, who lives and works in Gloucestershire UK.
Ian is currently Organist & Director of music at the University of Gloucestershire, Organist & tutor in composition, piano and organ at St. Edward's school Cheltenham. In addition, he is also conductor of various choral and orchestral organisations including: Jubilate Chamber Choir, the English Concertante Orchestra, Cotswold Camerata and Cirencester Philharmonia. Ian's choral and vocal compositions are frequently performed by many Cathedral choirs, Church choirs, School choirs, Choral societies, and vocal soloists up and down the country. His vocal and instrumental compositions appear on various examination syllabuses including both the ABRSM and Trinity examination boards and Ian's music is widely used and acclaimed on both sides of the Atlantic. Ian's Christmas music has also been performed by both the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra & Choir and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, at their well established seasonal Christmas concerts. |

The titles are printed to order and distributed by the Royal School of Church Music and Forsyth's Music shop, Manchester. Publications include: Choral anthems, Liturgical music, Christmas carols, secular choral titles, Vocal titles, or titles for organ, piano, flute, voice and other instruments. Parish Publications offers music which caters for choirs / musicians either wanting a challenge, or who are of varying levels of ability, but all publications are accessible and appealing to both the performers and the listeners alike. It is difficult to indicate levels of ability as each choir trainer will have different ideas. However, we have tried to indicate what we feel is a fair assessment of each piece with a view to the level of difficulty.
